En 2005, le bassiste Kira , fortement influencé par la scène Visual Kei et par le Jrock japonais, établit un projet qui a comme cible la fusion entre la mélodie Orientale et le Groove Occidental, le but de la bande était de trouver la bonne dimension entre ces deux mondes et sera appelé « DNR »
Immédiatement Ash et Sieg (ex-membres d'autres groupes Hard Rock , made in USA) entrent dans le projet : la base du son de DNR était prêt, mais il faudra 2 ans d'éprouvants castings pour recruter un chanteur aux attentes du trio. En été 2007, ils trouveront dans Mantis le bon ton romantique et agressif qui représente le groupe. Maintenant, au lieu d'engager un autre guitariste, comme les groupes de rock standard ont l'habitude de faire, DNR optent pour un 5ème élément avec la connaissance du Jazz Piano, avec l'intention d'apporter du style et de la douceur au son ainsi que du soutien aux Riffs de Sieg; avec l'arrivée de DeLord en Novembre 2007, la formation fut complète.
Septembre 2009, l'annonce tombe, MantiS quitte le groupe pour divergance musical et sera remplacé par AxiA. Le groupe adopte un nouveau style et nous offre déjà, de très bon titres comme "Friends".
DNR sont : Kira, Ash, Sieg, AxiA et DeLord, le premier groupe Visual Italien.

In 2005 the bass-player “Kira”, strongly influenced by the Visual Kei scene and by Japanese Jrock, draw up a project which has the fusion of Oriental melody and Occidental Groove as target, the band's purpose is to find the right dimension between these two worlds, and will be called “DNR”. Immediately Ash and Sieg (ex members of other Hard Rock made in USA bands) enter the project: the base of DNR' sound was ready, but it will take 2 years of exhausting casting session to recruit a singer to expectations of the trio. In summer 2007, they will find in Mantis the right romantic and aggressive tone that represents the band. Now, instead of hiring another guitarist, as standard rock bands usually do, DNR opt for a 5th element with knowledge of Jazz Piano, with the intention to bring style and niceness to the sound and support to Sieg's guitar Riffs; with the arrival of DeLord on november 2007 the formation was completed.
September 2009, the announcement falls Mantis left the band to diverge music and will be replaced by Axia. The group adopts a new style and we already offer very good songs like "Friends".
DNR are: Kira, Ash, Sieg, AxiA and DeLord, the first italian Visual Band.
